Curious to know of any shared components between our Austins and a Morris Minor 1000, or any Morris Minor?
I would estimate that there are few, if any, commonalities between the two. There may be some Lucas parts that are common (I can’t think of any off the top of my head), and from the manufacturer’s point of view the merger between Austin and Morris into BMC didn’t take place until the very end of the ‘Counties’ era, some time after the design of the last ‘Counties’ vehicle.
