    the passenger door on my somerset has taken to unlatching itself while driving along. I have adjusted the catch plate every which way  to no avail. The spring catch on the door appears to be quite strong but is obviously not latching properly. I don’t really want to lose any passengers so any advice would be most welcome.

    It may well be worth swapping the door latch for another. Graham Potts, the club’s used spares rep., may well have one he could find for you. There would very likely be one at the barn in Bedfordshire, but unfortunately that can’t be visited at present.
