The front shock absorbers on an A40 Somerset are supposed to contain oil, aren’t they?
Mine have what can best be described as a white emulsion in them. How do I get it out, or would I be better off replacing them with a pair of reconditioned units?
If yours have been without oil for some time (and they’re probably leaking), I’d be inclined to get a set of reconditioned ones – see our spares supplier Dave Kingerley – I believe he has them.
