As stated above, you’l need to undo the nut at the end of the steering box. You will also have to cut through the ‘olive’ that sits behind the nut in order to withdraw the centre of the wheel complete with the stator tube.
You’ll need to find a replacement olive – try plumber’s merchants – as the olive is there to keep the oil in the steering box.
