Welcome to the Club!
1.Steering will be heavier that a modern car, most noticeable at low speed. Easiest way to check for stiffness is to jack the front end off the ground an check lock to lock for any binding. This could be caused by steering box, idler or even kingpins.Oil not grease in box and idler. It takes a bit of getting used to, dont try turning the steering wheel until you are actually moving and it wont feel as bad!
2. You cannot use tubeless tyres on standard Somerset rims.
3.I think Longbridge Spares were investigating having some made. I just purchased a complete secondhand air cleaner with good rubber connector from Graham Potts (Potts Parts).
Happy motoring!
