Hello my. Name is Bruno Duchesnd Canada / Quebec / Saguenay / ville de la baie Area, so maybe you can help me? Here’s my question, I’m restoring an Austin A40 Devon 1948. I’m almost done painting black and I’m looking for the right color for the dashboard and windows interior. I saw on photo of beige rather pale and brown which seems to me the standard but what was original? Is it possible to find the code of this color? Is there anyone in your group who has already solved this question? Thank you in advance. Bruno Duchesne.

If you do not have the color code, a picture of your dashboard could help me. So for a black car the dashboard should be in shades of brown … Thank you for helpin

For a 1948 Devon the colour should be gold.

    Gold 14 or 24 Karat? 🙁
Good! There are not many owners of A40 on this forum… I will try elsewhere…
    Thank you.

Davewhy, you were right, the dashboard color of the Austin A40 Devon Black 1948 is really brilliant gold color … It is an owner of Argentina who also confirmed it to me. But we do not know the code … so, can you recommend me a website, a forum, a museum that could have this information? Thank you ! Traduction machinelle
